I had to do some R&D for a potential job and ended up doing a deep dive into matrices and quaternions. 🤓
The goal was to be able to orient any Platonic solid such that the chosen side would have the same orientation (the numbers always align the same way).
This was a lot to uncover but I ended up with a very handy asset for myself and a broader understanding of some 3D concepts.
